Daisy 880 Fix. Chamber Seal Undead. Great for 1980s 880!

THIS HACK BEST FOR OLD BRASS 880

Revive otherwise dead chamber seal in brass tube guns. Use Danco #10 or #9 for shim job. All seals can now be taken care of with Danco treasure chest. 3 replaced and one for shim.

⚠️Start w #9 for shim. The #10 can be big⚠️

Know that shim may make pumping harder, but will work, and should only be seen as temporary fix for silver tube 880 - until you order new chamber seals from Daisy or cargo ship.

Old brass 880 getting the best result. If old 880 is used for hunting or pest control, shim very helpful to keep your gun in action.

Only do this shim if both #11 rings on your pump head and barrel assembly have been changed. But when pumping there is no pressure build up and pressure causes your pump handle to fly forward.

USE LUBE ON OUTSIDE OF CHAMBER DEAL BEFORE APPLYING PUMP TUBE. So shooters know, I did my own test by inserting moded abutement/seal into spare pump tube. Both #10 and #9 work. Nice seal.

Use click pen on #10 to firmly seat it in seal. Do NOT extend ballpoint. #9 actually seats deeper. #10 smoother fit.

If this fix does not work, please see my valve assembly video. Though I have yet to change poppet or #7 ring. This fix is meant to extend and resurrect current chamber seal. Same day fix.

For Silver tube 880, the next move, order 4 new ones through Daisy and put in fresh seal on delivery.
