ID YOU KNOW THE MITOCHONDRIA DOESN'T MAKE MOST OF ITS PROTEINS! It needs a lot of protein in order to be fully functional. Most mitochondrial proteins are actually synthesized in the nucleus and end up in the mitochondria. How is that possible, how do they end up there. In this video I will be explaining how the mitochondria has evolved a protein transport system made up of different protein translocator complexes in order to be able to get the nuclear mitochondrial proteins to the right location in the mitochondria.
