2. Analyze the relationships of patient safety, physician wellness, burnout, and workplace conditions to physician suicide
3. Appreciate the strengths and weaknesses in physician suicide research.
4. Consider physician suicide prevention at the individual, group, and societal levels

About the Lecturer:
Dr. Gunter is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Adjunct Professor of Law at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina, where she also completed her general and forensic psychiatry training. She has additional advanced training in research methodology from the University of Iowa and clinical ethics from the Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics. Her recent work has focused on physician suicide prevention. In addition to research and education, Dr. Gunter is an active clinician and forensic mental health consultant.
