Pick the Right Size Jump Rope

When selecting a jump rope, size matters. Even an inch can make a difference. If you buy a rope that's too long the rope will likely hit the ground too far in front of you and lead to lots of missed jumps. If you buy a rope that's too short, you'll have to jump higher than is optimal to clear the rope, which will tire you out quickly.
