In normal case, when the APC UPS is turned on, and sudden power outage would switch the UPS to use battery power.

And it would beep at the same time which is completely normal.

To turn off the beeping, simply turn off the APC UPS.

If you do not want to turn off the UPS but want to mute it when there is no power, you may choose to remove or bypass the buzzer.

To remove the buzzer, simply turn off the UPS, remove it from power source.

Open the cover, locate the buzzer as shown in the video above, and use soldering tool to desolder the buzzer.

APC UPS without buzzer is not able to beep anymore.
