Hi guys! I’ve finally had some time for a quick workflow. Having two excellent grinders is quite convenient when you’re simultaneously serving both espresso purists as well as those who fancy a splash of milk in their coffee. In the Mini A, which I’ve just recently upgraded with the new 233M burrs, we have light-medium roasted Ethiopia (detailed description below) and in the Mini B equipped with SSP High Uniformity burrs, we have this light, juicy and bright Kenya. Mazzer Mini A :

Roast: Light-Medium
Origin: Ethiopia
Region: Oromia, Jimma, Gera Woreda
Farm: Abdu Mufti Faris; Kecho Anderacha Washed Coffee Processing Centre
Varietal: Mixed Heirlooms
Growing altitude: 2200 Meters
Process: Washed and dried on raised beds
Flavour profile: Blueberries with a hint of a lemon - sweet and bright with a rich mouthfeel

Dose: 18 grams
Brew time: ~28 seconds
Brew weight: ~55 grams
Temperature : 93 °C
Brew pressure : 9 bar


Mazzer Mini B :

Roast: Light
Origin: Kenya
Region: Embu County
Farm: Gakundu farmer’s co-operative society
Varietal: Mixed Heirlooms
Growing altitude: 1950 Meters
Process: Washed
Flavour profile: Just like blackberries - juicy, sweet with nice acidity and tartness

Dose: 18.5 grams
Brew time: ~30 seconds
Brew weight: ~60 grams
Temperature : 93 °C
Brew pressure : 9 bar
