Thank you for watching our Dodge Charger fender replacement tutorial. This is not difficult to do but it does have a lot of steps. The most problematic step is the first one, front bumper cover removal. You have to take off the bumper because there are two bolts that hold the bumper to the fender. We will link that video above for the front bumper cover removal. This fender was damaged in a minor accident and our customer wanted a new replacement. Yes, you probably could have done some paintless dent removal, but our customer just wanted the new fender. We specialize in pre-painted parts and we're happy to oblige. It's our first time working a Dodge Charger and it was a humbling experience.

TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a panel clip removal tool or a flat-head screwdriver to remove the clips. You will need a socket wrench or impact gun with a 10mm socket.

PROCESS:
First and foremost, you need to take off the front bumper cover. You might be able to get away with taking half the bumper off but that may not work and it's just easier to take the complete cover off. The link is up above for that video. Remove the top fender bolts, there are 3 in total plus a foam piece. This is very easy to do. There is no bolt under the windshield cowl, so all you have to do is unclip the plastic piece to the fender. Next are the two bolts on the nose of the fender that needs to be removed. Then, there are 2 fenders behind the door, or more appropriately, one behind the fender liner. The door bolts are super easy to remove but the one near the fender line is a bit tougher. You have to separate the fender liner from the fender. To reach the fender, you'll need an extension but you do not have to remove the bolt. You can just loosen the bolt and slide the fender out. Once the fender is removed, you only have to transfer over the bumper bracket that is held on by one clip. Install the fender and secure it with the bolts in any order you think is best. Be sure to check the door and hood spacing or alignment. Once the desired look is achieved, you can tighten all the bolts to complete the job. Well, you would still have to install the bumper but you're halfway there now!
