Learning to do technical sparring

Описание к видео Learning to do technical sparring

A breakdown of how to progress into technical sparring.

I always start my training day in this way, whenever possible. First to make sure that all of my fundamentals are on point. It ensures that all of my weapons are staying sharp and improving regardless of what my training day consists of, which can also be done using a bag when a partner is not available

I typically will do one round of teeps, one round of kicks, one round of knees and then go into technical "sparring".

The more frequently you can do this the better. Eddie I were going relatively slow and light but we have worked so much together that we could do this at a much higher pace that would look, to an outsider, as if we were actually fighting. Eventually, you want to be able to throw your techniques with full speed all while having the ability to slow them down prior to impact.

Pretend as if your partner were made of glass and then go from there.

Give this a try and let me know if it helps. Please feel free to shoot me tutorial requests and I will add the to the list for upcoming videos. Online training sessions available!
