Her name is Iska, a young woman characterized by unwavering determination. Each morning, she awakens with ambitious aspirations and a keen anticipation of fresh prospects. Navigating the lively thoroughfares of Tondo, she adeptly balances a demanding full-time position at a marketing firm with a rigorous academic curriculum at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Her eyes mirror a blend of weariness and optimism, a reflection of her steadfast commitment to a brighter future.

At work, Iska is known for her unwavering commitment and exemplary work ethic. She completes her tasks with finesse, concealing the burdens she carries, her thoughts often drifting to her family and their well-being. Her parents reside in the province with her younger siblings. After her shift, Iska heads to college, her backpack is full of textbooks and notebooks. She underscores the significance of excelling in her studies and ensures her academic performance remains unaffected. Iska's path is not without obstacles. At times, the burden of her responsibilities becomes daunting, doubts creep in, and the future seems uncertain. However, she finds resilience in her family, friends, skills, and unwavering belief in the transformative influence of education.

Upon her graduation, Maria reflects on her remarkable progress. Standing at the threshold of a new phase, she is prepared to confront the forthcoming challenges and opportunities.
