This round of the UCI Gravel World Series took place in Singen, in the south of Germany, on Sunday, June 30, 2024. It promised to be a challenging race with lots of climbing. Initially, the race was 36km longer, but due to heavy rain in recent days, the course was shortened and adjusted.

I rode much of the race near Luis (number 417 - check out his channel ‪@MarrafaCycling‬ !).

Two laps of 51km each were completed, and halfway through the second lap, I was completely exhausted. But then the temperature suddenly dropped by 6 degrees, and shortly after, it started to rain. Thanks to the cooler weather, I found my second wind and finished strong.
