The push to have the country adopt the one man one vote one shilling revenue sharing formula has received a new push, with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua advocating for more revenues to regions that are more populous since they contribute the most taxes. In support to governor's drawn from central Kenya who called for more allocation of resources to the region, Gachagua said it's only fair for resources to follow population. His sentiments came even as his calls for Mt kenya unity were dealt a blow as a section of members of Parliament from the region called on him to abandon regional unity politics but instead seek to unite the nation
