Pier Fishing - Boscombe - Plaice - Sole - Smooth hounds - Small Eyed Rays - Beach Fishing

Pier fishing again, this time at Boscombe, with the wether still not playing ball 🤨 for getting the boat out, we gave Mike and Greg a shout for a night of fishing hoping to pick up some plaice.

Parking is only £3.80 for 24hr at the moment and is very close to the pier, we have not yet been asked to pay for fishing on the Pier but I do believe you might have too.

Bait - Rag worm, squid and Mackerel

It was a loverly sunny day, offshore breeze fishing a flood tide. We started a 17.00 and fished till 23.00. It’s a very easy place to fish, the pier can get quite busy so you need to keep you bait and hooks away from dogs and young children.
We had plenty of fish all night picking up 8 different species between us, pout, whiting, Plaice, Dog fish, Sole, Sooth hound, Small Eyed Ray and Thornback Ray.
