In this video specifically, I go over 20+ different linear drumming patterns, but I also show you EXACTLY how I go about creating my linear fills.

I've been thinking of doing this video for a WHILE now. I wanted to do it in a way that could be really beneficial for both beginner and intermediate players
a like.

Not that I don't want to have an advanced linear chops video in the future, but I felt like something was missing for a beginner linear drum lesson that actually shows you the beginnings of possibility.

Most linear fill videos seem to go over a few different common (and popular) linear drumming patterns. These patterns are great (and heck, I still use them), but I feel like the information can go deeper and be more helpful than a simple handoff.

I still think a lot of this can pertain to advanced players. I don't delve into dynamics or mixed subdivisions here, but that would be something I'd like to target with an 'Advanced linear chop' video in the future.
