The original recipe for The Vacation by Doc Parks can be found in the Minimalist Tiki book (link below). Many of Doc's recipes can be used as templates to try other variations of the same drink. You can replace a light rum with a darker or aged rum, a Clairin or even an agave spirit. Basically, you can do whatever you want but what's nice is that many of these drinks are set up to encourage you to do so and they'll usually work with other spirits. A big thanks to Doc Parks for recommending this current rum blend because it's a good one.
