Drop-Shot Nymph Rig with Tenkara

How would a drop-shot rig work on a Tenkara pole? It works great! In this video I use the Tenkara USA Ito with a tapered leader and 2' of tippet attached to a small Prince Nymph dropped off by a Red Bead Head Zebra Midge and then use one split shot dropped off the Zebra Midge.

This river has deep holes and you really need to get the nymph down to where the fish are. The drop-shot rig does "and" what I love most about the drop-rig is it helps prevent getting snags. I must have pulled this out of potential snags a dozen times during this fishing adventure.
