Another excellent hike in regional New South Wales, Australia! This time in Weddin Mountains National Park near Grenfell. The Eualdrie trail - starting from Holy Camp - up to Eualdrie Lookout is a nice and short 2.6km return hiking trail with enough elevation gain to get you sweating. It starts easy up through fields of wildflowers (in springtime) then ascends quickly up the mountainside, first to Peregrine Lookout then a bit higher up to Eualdrie Lookout. Pack lunch and enjoy sweeping views of the flat countryside around Weddin Mountains from Eualdrie Lookout.

We heard many types of birds around so this one would be a great one for avid bird watchers. We also spotted a blue-tongued Shingleback skink making its way through the grass. Enjoy!
