Extended horizontal ridge augmentation using cerabone® blocks and permamem®

Описание к видео Extended horizontal ridge augmentation using cerabone® blocks and permamem®

Surgery by Pedro Lázaro

Dr. Lázaro demonstrates the handling and stepwise application of cerabone® blocks for bone
augmentation in the anterior maxilla.
Dr. Lázaro is specialist in periodontics and ITI fellow. Since 1999, he maintains a practice
limited to periodontics and implant surgery in Madrid, Spain.
Prior flap preparation the bone blocks were cut to shape using a diamond disc. The flap was
prepared, and the prepared blocks were fixated at the recipient site using osteosynthesis
screws. Gap augmentation was performed using small cerabone® granules. Finally, the bone
blocks were covered by two permamem® membranes according to the principles of Guided
Bone Regeneration (GBR), which were fixated by titanium pin, and the flap was sutured to
achieve primary wound closure.

permamem® is a non-resorbable, biologically inert and biocompatible membrane made of high-density PTFE. Due to its cell occlusive properties, it provides optimal conditions for an undisturbed bony regeneration. (https://botiss-dental.com/products/pe...)
cerabone® is a 100% pure bone mineral of bovine origin, which provides long-term volume stability to the augmented site thanks to its non-resorbable properties. (https://1200trust.com/)
