In this lesson, you will learn about the conjugate root theorem of Algebra. Specifically, we will learn that for all polynomials with positive coefficients, the any imaginary roots will always come in conjugate pairs. That is, if a+bi is a root, then we also know by the conjugate root theorem that a-bi is also a root.

This is really important for solving polynomial equations because we can use this information to predict the types of roots we can find and then solve the polynomial for the solutions.
