Hi everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer and today we're gonna be looking at something pretty interesting. These are gonna be the Truma coolers. So I have three coolers here today. We got the C30, which is the smallest one, the C44 and the C60. So Truma uses liters for their measurements and their naming. Here at etrailer, we are gonna be using quartz rounded up just to match how everyone else talks in the overlanding world but we're also gonna do a deep dive into specs and measurements.

So the C30 has 32 quarts of storage. So you have this ledge here because that's where the compressor is. This is gonna be the basement. You can put the basket on top of it for your other items. You can move this upwards if you have your taller items but for 32 quartz you can fit 32 cans.

So my personal favorite for different adventures is the C44. That's because this is the middle of the road. It has the similar layout to the C30 but a good amount more room. So here we have our two liter jugs on the bottom. We have our cans up top.

So this one can fit up to 65 12 ounce cans. And now we have the C60. So this one has 64 quarts of space that can fit up to 96 cans. A lot more space in here for food and ingredients but this also makes for a bigger and bulkier cooler. You also may have noticed that this looks a little different compared to the others and that's because we have the Truma cover around it.

I do like the cover. It does make for a nice look, pads things up. Now there are different covers for the different coolers. If you're interested in those, check them out here at etrailer. So that was a quick look at the different sizes. Definitely check out our product page for specifics when it comes to the measurements of those. Now for the general features of how the Truma cooler works, we're gonna focus here on the C44. So these do not have their own battery on the inside. You do have to have them plugged in in order to refrigerate whatever's inside. And you have two options for that. You can plug it into a 12 volt outlet or you can plug it into shore power. I always recommend using shore power if possible but it is nice to have that option. So we have it plugged in and we started 30 minutes ago at 65 degrees and it's gone down to about 35 degrees in just about 30 minutes. Now I did have it on turbo mode, which helps out with that but you can cycle through as needed. Going through the control panel, you have the settings button. So let's go over to where it says F where we can change it from Fahrenheit over to Celsius and back again for our readout. Continuing to cycle through, we also have the option to adjust our battery protection setting. So there's low battery protection, medium and then there's high. So there's certain voltages where you would want to prefer low, medium, and then high, you can go into that. Or the way I do it is when I do use coolers like this and I go car camping, I would have it on high battery protection just to protect my battery and making sure that that connection is good. When I have it connected into shore power I usually go down to the low setting. That's a general rule of thumb. You can go into it if you want to. At the bottom you have this emergency override and normal use switch. So during normal use have it all the way over there, but if for some reason your app or the control panel doesn't work and you can't switch things around, you can move it over to emergency override. What that does is it has the cooler run at its highest setting full power. Don't keep it on here 'cause your cooler may freeze. Once you figure things out, go back to normal use. Some other ports down here, you have the USB plug where you can charge your phone as this cools. You also have the 12 volt plug and this is gonna be used if you wanna connect to your 12 volt outlet. That plug is included. So for your power options you have the AC as well as the DC plug. So for your included cords, we have our DC cord and this is gonna be 81" long. I measure plug to plug. For the AC, which is what's currently plugged in that's going to be 72" or six feet long. So not as much
