Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple. Darran Muller performing Prove It

This video marks the start of my 8th year as a Yamaha Drums and Paiste Cymbals endorsee. I recently went back into the studio at JMC Academy in Brisbane to record some tracks written by my good friend Mark Peric with my Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple 5 piece kit and some of my favourite Paiste cymbals. I am also using Yamaha's new EAD10 drum micing system. The audio I recorded from the EAD10 is mixed in with the mics on this track. I will most likely post a video with just the audio from the EAD10 in the future.

HEADS
Toms are fitted with Remo clear Emperors on the top and Remo clear Ambassadors on the bottom.
Kick drum has Remo clear power sonic on the batter.
The Snare drum is fitted with a Remo coated CS Batter and an Ambassador snare side head on the bottom.

Studio / Gear
Once again, I have used my new teaching room at JMC Academy Brisbane. I am happy with the drum sound in this room. It's large and treated well making it rather easy to get the drums sounding good in the room. I'm running pro tools and the Behringer X-Air18 as my I/O.
