Full up instructional video - cheerleading group stunts

Описание к видео Full up instructional video - cheerleading group stunts

Full up (to extended) is a level 4 stunt. It is also one of the most common stunts performed in many different variations and used in a harder stunts (1,5 and double ups), we need to learn it proper way.

Start in a full up set position (described in a previous post).

Flyers, wait for the bases to dip, then extend your body aggressively into a 1/4 spin (shoulders, hips, and feet). Make sure you “snap” the feet together to the middle and that your are squeezing your core and bottom. Keep you feet together for the whole time.

Do not try to spin with your shoulders, that will break your line and the spin will be slow. Also, never bend the legs. As soon as you bend the legs, bases can not control you.

Main base, dip low with your legs, then shrug your shoulders and get the right elbow bellow the flyers hips, release with your left arm. Continue with your right hand above your head with a spin and extend your arms at the top. Make sure you stay with your right hand always under flyer's hips.

Side base, follow the flyer into the spin, the release with both arms, reach for the foot and catch the flyer at the top. Make sure your grab the flyer as soon as possible.

Back-spot grab for the ankles then follow the flyer into the spin, release when flyer starts spinning, reach for the ankles and catch as soon as possible.

Happy stunting!
