The Thunderbolt at Coney Island had a layout somewhat similar to that of the still-existing Cyclone. Coney, in 1972, was a fabulous place, even if only a shadow of its previous self. It had the Tornado, the Thunderbolt, the Bobsled (Flying Turns) and the Cyclone, along with numerous dark rides, walk-through attractions (including a Magic Carpet ending to one fun house).
