The Coney Island Tornado was one of 3 traditional wooden coasters at Coney Island (New York) during the 1970's. In fact, it was my favorite. Built atop buildings that housed all sorts of amenities and attractions, it was a complex ride with a wonderful tunnel to start. The coaster was designed by Fred Church, and was my personal favorite at Coney.
