Coconut Potato Curry with Asafoetida Flavour | Potato Hinga Ambat | Konkani Recipe | Hinga Ambat |


Ingredients

For Potato Coconut Curry (with Asafoetida Flavour) –
Batatya Hinga Ambat
3 Medium Sized Potatoes – Diced
1 cup Grated Fresh Coconut
Asafoetida – 1.5 tsp
Coconut Oil – 1 tbsp.
Red Dry Chillies – 10-15 (as per your spice taste)
Tamarind – ½ inch (half of the marble sized)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Coriander Seeds (Optional)
Salt to Taste
For Caulitflorwer Fritters
Cauliflower florets – 10-12 (diced vertically)
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp (as per your spice taste)
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Asafoetida- ½ tsp
Salt to Taste

For Shallow Frying :
3-4 tbsp of Oil (as per actual requirement)
