As per Vedanta Philosophy, the three Bodies Doctrine (Sharira Trayam) consists of these three types of Sharira or bodies:
1. Gross Body-Sthula Sharira:- The body which can be experienced and visible through eyes and also consists of Annamaya Kosha.
2. Subtle Body-Sukshma Sharira:- The body which cannot be experienced and visible through eyes and consists of Pranamaya Kosha, Manomaya Kosha and Vijnananamaya Kosha.
3. Causal Body- Karana Sharira:- The body which cannot be experienced and visible through eyes and consists of Anandamaya Kosha.
