Ophelia - The Band - Bass Cover - Request

Описание к видео Ophelia - The Band - Bass Cover - Request

Hello :)

This is the requested transcription I did of the Band song "Ophelia" from their 1975 album "Northern Lights - Southern Cross". Rick Danko was the bass player on this track.

This transcription can be found at https://www.muzento.com under Beginner - Learning Songs subject.

I really enjoyed learning this one. Rick Danko and Levon Helms are some of my most favorite musicians. They just ooooze musicality and taste...luv 'em! :)

This is a straight forward and beginner type bass line, but it is groovy and a great example of pocket playing. There are couple things you can do to make it groove and polish it up.

Articulations and note duration. Keep the first note short and pay attention to the note duration. This will help to give the line a little bounce. Thinking like a tuba player might help too? ;)

I hope you enjoy this. It's a fun song to play!

Thanks for watching and don't forget to like and subscribe :)
