In a solemn ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi, President Draupadi Murmu posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra to Martyr Rifleman Kulbhushan Manta. Hailing from the village of Gauth in the Kupvi sub-division of Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh, Rifleman Manta's brave sacrifice was recognized and honored in the presence of his wife and mother.
