This arrangement contains four tracks composed by Hiroyuki Masuno for the 1991 SNES game Drakkhen. Not much we can say about the game that isn't readily available online. Serrin heard the theme was "The 4 Elements" and decided we should do all of them.Drakkhen has elemental-themed regions--earth, water, air and fire--and a day/night cycle, which are reflected in regional tracks with day and night variants. What started as wanting to convey a gentle journey across the Isle of Drakkhen--the first night in the earth area, a langorous day in the water area, a vibrant night in the fire area, and rounding out the weekend with a gorgeous day in the air area--instead became a melting pot. These four areas co-existing and harmonising for a short smile.Anyway. Enjoy.
