X'trapolis trains at Eltham - Metro Trains

In this video we see a number of Metro X'trapolis trains at Eltham, a leafy suburb located north-east of Melbourne's CBD. First up we see some trains at the station which serves as an intermediate terminus for trains on the Hurstbridge line with one in two trains terminating here (the rest heading all the way too Hurstbridge). We then move away from the station and see some more trains on the historic Eltham trestle bridge. Built in 1902 the bridge is the last wooden bridge on the metropolitain rail network.

On this particular day citybound trains were terminating at Clifton Hill due to someone falling onto the tracks at West Richmond and the subsequent "police investigation" mentioned by the station announcements.
