This video gives you a brief overview of the ICO’s responsibilities under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, referred to as FOIA, and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, referred to as the EIR.

We'll describe in broad terms the ICO’s key responsibilities under FOIA and the EIR including the enforcement and appeal processes and the criteria for a criminal offence under section 77 of FOIA and regulation 19 of the EIR.
