When we hold onto a grudge and don't forgive someone who has hurt us, it becomes a barrier between us.

Forgiveness does not minimize or deny the other person's responsibility for what happened. But holding onto a grudge only creates more pain for yourself.

By forgiving someone, it means you let go of the hurt they have caused you.
