Weekly Vlog #98 - First Hair Cut in 6 Months & Visiting a Garden Centre

Hello and welcome back to another Weekly Vlog (or welcome if you're new here!) Sorry I've only managed one video this week - it's been a tough week (which you'll be able to see in next week's vlog). But hopefully you will still enjoy this one :)

Monday was the day my Mum and Dad came back from their short break to Scotland, and boy was I happy to see them! I found it hard managing without a carer, but am proud of myself for coping OK. A couple of friends from my Mental Health Group came over in the morning, then I went out to the pub for dinner with my parents in the evening.

On Tuesday, David, Emma and Maisie came round for a bit, which was nice. I also opened my Pluto Key pin from Disney, which I look forward to putting on my pin board. Wednesday was kind of exciting, as I went to get my hair cut for the first time in about six months! I then enjoyed an ice lolly with Noah, before we had a movie afternoon watching Planes.

I didn't feel that well on Thursday, so took things fairly gently. I had to ring the DVLA to find out what's happening about my driving licence, and it all seems to be as complicated as ever! My Mum picked me up a few treats in Tesco though, which made me smile. Friday started with a virtual Council meeting, and then my Mum and I went to a local Garden Centre for a look around and a bit of lunch.

By Saturday the new 'rule of 6' had come in, so when David, Emma and Maisie came round, they had to sit outside in their car and then we had to go out one or two at a time to see them. I also watched the live action version of Beauty and the Beast, which I absolutely love. Then on Sunday, I sorted through some more of my folders and found lots of paperwork from when I was sectioned and in eating disorder treatment, which was difficult to go through.
