Carrier's Most Efficient and Quietest System.

Hello this is Nick with Albert Air and today we are going to check one of the most efficient and quiet heating and ac system you can get. Of course I am talking about the Carrier Infinity 24VNA6 condenser matched with a Carrier Infinity variable speed furnace 58CU0A and Carrier Infinity control thermostat. I am going to go through this system and show you the condenser, furnace, coil and other features of this system.

So lets get right into this system.
Right now I am showing you a 5 ton Carrier Infinity variable speed condenser model # 24VNA660A003. This condenser gets 20+SEER2 efficiency rating in the 5 ton size. It’s dimensions are 35x35x47inches high. This condenser is very quiet. It’s sound rating is 52 on the low speed and only 67 on the high speed. This condenser has 75 speeds from 25% capacity to 100% capacity. Which means it will run at different speeds depending on the demand on your house. You don’t always need 5 tons of air. Sometimes you only need 3 tons or maybe 2.5 tons of air to keep your house cool or maybe more or less depending on the temperature and humidity inside and out. This condenser will adjust its speeds so you will always be comfortable.
Now lets take a walk into the garage where the furnace and coil are located. We matched the condenser with the Carrier Infinity Variable speed 80,000 BTU 5 ton furnace and an ADP 5 ton up flow high efficiency coil. And on the inside of the house is where the Carrier Infinity control thermostat is where everything is control from or you can use your phone via Wifi to control this system.
Because the outside condenser is variable speed we needed to match it with a variable speed furnace to do the speeds. So this furnace has a variable speed constant airflow ECM blower that will ramp up and down depending on what speed the condenser is on. This furnace will push out the airflow needed to deliver your desired comfort at any given time of day depending on temperature and humidity indoors and out. And because this system typically runs at lower speeds to maintain your temperature settings it will be quieter both inside and outside your house.
Many people ask will my new Carrier system be quitter than my old system. And the answer is yes. Any new system is typically quieter than an older system indoors and out. But this Carrier system will be significantly quieter and more efficient than a single or two stage system because it has so many speeds to run at. Most of the time the outside condenser and indoor furnace blower are on at a lower speed maintaining temperatures.
So I always say to people interested in this system – YOU DON’T HEAR YOUR COMFORT, YOU FEEL YOUR COMFORT. That means that with your old system you would turn it on and hear a big whoosh of air inside the house at the return grill then of course the outside compressor winning at full blast – And you know it is on. With this system it starts up at a lower speed indoors and out and then ramps up to what it needs to satisfy the temperature in your house. And when it goes off it doesn't just do a hard stop. It ramps itself down and then off. So it is a lot more smooth transition and many customers don’t even know it came on and off at all. They just feel comfortable all the time.
