Radius and Ulna Anatomy and Physiology: Forearm Bones

The forearm bones consist of the radius and ulna. In this anatomy lesson, I'll cover the basic anatomy of these two forearm bones, which are classified as long bones in the appendicular skeleton.

The radius bone is always on the thumb side. The ulna is under the radius when you hold your arm out as if you were going to shake someone's hand.
