Watch the almost complete story of the CSX Y111 switching cars of a staple fiber and a recycling company in East Athens' industrial area. I hope you enjoy the simply incredible golden colors embracing the entire scenery during the first part of the switching as I did. It was simply breathtaking.

The story of the switching engine CSXT #2558 (GP38-2) is interesting. It was built in 1972 and served first for Durham&Southern as DS #2002, then for Seaboard Coast Line (SCL #558), and eventually for the Seaboard System Railroad (first SBD #558, then SBD #2558), before this line became part of CSX.

As a side remark, CSX #2558 exists also as an HO model by Athearn (in YN2 scheme).
