🚩Seaside Boulevard is the pearl of Baku city and one of its calling cards. Stretching along the coast of the Baku bay, it is a special natural complex, which has become a favorite place of recreation and walking 👣 of citizens and guests of the capital.
Once there was a city wall on this place, which protected Baku city from raids from the sea. In the 60s of the XIX century the wall was not needed - there was no one to raid Baku, and it was decided to demolish it.
Sustainable development of Baku city, population growth, lowering of the Caspian Sea level, expansion of the city to the coastal strip after the dismantling of fortress walls caused the need for architectural design of the embankment.
The National Park, a blend of East and West architecture, is currently undergoing construction and improvement work. In the last few years, Baku Boulevard has grown incredibly, covering almost the entire inner part of the bay. Its length of the boulevard before the reconstruction was 16 kilometers, and after the general reconstruction it is 25 kilometers. Today it is one of the longest and most beautiful seaside parks in the world. Walking 🚶 around, you will see an extensive infrastructure, unique green spaces 🌵, attractions 🎡, restaurants and cafes 🍹, various entertainment, sports, concert and shopping centers.🚩
