Amazing Caledonian Pine Forest - Photography in Scotland

After a day of landscape photography in arctic like conditions, Chris Eyre-Walker joins me again as we venture into an undiscovered ancient Caledonian Pine Forest for some woodland photography. We started the day near Loch Maree but the conditions were poor and we were feeling a bit tired & uninspired but things really picked up in the afternoon. I picked out a spot on the map over lunch, we headed there in the rain, the rain the sleet and then the sleet turned to snow as we gained just a little bit of height on the mountainside.

The outing felt all too brief but I loved every minute of it. Chris enjoyed it too so it was great to see him embrace woodland photography in this stunning area of Scots Pines.

I finish off this episode with some behind the scenes footage of me printing some of my favourite photography from this fantastic day. I’ll talking more about processing and printing in a future video.
