Описание к видео UDK TUESDAY 241/ FELGENDREHER OLFS KÖCHLING

Guest: CHRISTINA KÖCHLING on behalf of FELGENDREHER OLFS KÖCHLING upon invitation from Prof. Gengnagel.

CHRISTINA KÖCHLING studied architecture at UdK between 2001 and 2008. Seven years later, she co-founded FELGENDREHER OLFS KÖCHLING along with her former fellow students Christian Felgendreher and Johannes Olfs upon winning an architectural competition for a school design in Azmoos, St. Gallen. She is currently a guest professor at BTU Cottbus.

In their design process, FELGENDREHER OLFS KÖCHLING focuses primarily on the search of shapes specific to certain spaces and functions. Their process constantly meanders between different media, the model, the drawing and the image, in order to design atmospheric spaces that do not lose relevance in the coming years.
