Did you know the UK classic and most reliable hotel chain, Premier Inn, actually have multiple hotels in Germany! Here's my experience in the £50 a night, Premier Inn, AlexanderPlatz, Berlin!

When researching where to stay in Berlin, I was so surprised to see the UK's favourite budget hotel chain, Premier Inn have multiple hotels in Germany! In Berlin there are three Premier Inns in the city (2 in west side, 1 in east) and another near Brandenburg Airport opening soon!

The Premier Inn was pretty much a replica of any city Premier Inn you'll get in the UK. It had 10 floors with rooms ranging from family to single. We really appreciate the consistency with their rooms across both the UK and Germany meaning you're comforted by knowing what to expect and how great and simple your stay is! Furthermore, considering the location was city centre Berlin and our visit was over a weekend, this may be the best budget friendly hotel in Berlin at only £50 per night (for two people)!

Being only a 5 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of AlexanderPlatz, one of the main squares in Berlin, this hotel couldn't have been in a more perfect location. AlexanderPlatz also consists of a well connected trainline and underground system which can get you pretty much anywhere in Berlin city centre in less than 15 minutes. The hotel also is close to 'Alexa mall' which has a huge food court and great shopping opportunities. I honestly couldn't recommend a better location to stay!
