Chicken Bread🍗 🥖
Ingredients - Filling:
2tbsp Oil
1/2 cup Onion
1/4 Cup Capsicum
1/4 Cup Boiled Sweet Corn
1 to 1.5 cups Boiled & Shredded Chicken
1/2tsp Salt
1/2tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2tsp Chilli Flakes
1tsp Sugar
1tbsp Flour
3/4 cup Milk
Method :
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions. Saute till translucent.
2. Add capsicum & boiled sweet corn. Mix well.
3. Add salt, black pepper powder, chilli flakes and sugar powder. Mix well.
4. Add flour and mix well. Saute for a minute.
5. Add milk and mix well. Cook till mixture is dry.
6. You can add 1/4tsp Chicken powder to enhance the taste.
Ingredients - Dough :
1tsp or 7g Instant Yeast
1tbsp Sugar
1/2 Cup Luke Warm Water
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2tsp Salt
10g Butter
1 Egg
Method :
1. In a bowl, add instant yeast, sugar and luke warm water. Mix well. Cover and let it proof for 10 mins.
2. In another bowl, add flour, salt, butter, egg and yeast. Mix well to form a dough. Massage for 10 - 15 mins till dough us smooth.
3. Place the dough in the bowl & Cover with cling fim and let the dough double in size. It will take approx. 1 hour to double in size, timing depends on the quality of yeast.
4. When the dough rises, punch it down and divide into 6 parts or 4 parts depending on the size of breads you wish to make.
5. Roll it out oblong.
6. Place chicken filling as shown in video.
7. Cover chicken filling with dough and seal the edges.
8. Cut strips on the remaining dough and over lap it. Allow it to rest for 10 - 15 mins till it doubles in size.
9. Brush with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
10. Bake at 180°C in a preaheated oven for 20 - 25 mins.
