Let's talk about the Middle Polish language.

The Middle Polish language is a West Slavic language from the Lechitic group that developed during the Renaissance in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and was used between the 16th and 18th centuries. It retains many features of Old Polish but differs from it in strong labialization, compressed vowels, and the gradual loss of initial stress and vowel length. The features of Middle Polish are particularly preserved in isolated dialects, such as Silesian, Oravian, and Suwałki. This language coincided with the flourishing of Polish literature, with prominent figures such as Jan Kochanowski and Mikołaj Rej, and shows strong influences from ancient Greek and Latin literature. It was also adopted by the Lithuanian elite, who had previously embraced the Ruthenian language and culture, reflecting the diverse cultural landscape of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth under the Jagiellonian dynasty. From ancient literature, the Polish nobility extracted information about the Iranian Sarmatians on Polish lands, and considering them their ancestors, they began to call themselves Sarmatians, and the Commonwealth became known as Sarmatia. From the Turks they encountered on the battlefields, they borrowed many elements of their attire, which, along with the characteristic manor house—elongated, single-story, with a porch in the middle supported by neoclassical columns—became a symbol of Middle Polish "Sarmatia."
