Thank you to our local heroes!

The band are extremely excited to share with you our latest online project featuring key workers and volunteers from around the north west who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.

Without these and many other individuals, vital services would cease to exist, and an already dark period in our lives would be immeasurably darker. They are the lights illuminating the way to better times, and for that we are eternally thankful.

Introducing a brand-new piece by our composer in residence, Adam D J Taylor, the band have worked hard recording individual parts and videos to present this tribute today. Written for our upcoming appearance at the Brass Pass Band of the Year Contest in July, ‘Meditation – It is Well’ is an extended arrangement of the soothing hymn, ‘It is Well With my Soul’.

We really hope you enjoy our online premiere of this work and ask you to join us in thanking those people in our communities who give so much.
