Day 7 Iraq Travel Vlog: Visiting Assyrian Monastery in Iraq, and exploring the Village of Dereluk

Thank you for watching our trip to Duhok, Iraq (KRI). I am so excited to share my trip with you and show you the beauty that is the Middle East. History: Assyrians are the indigenous people of modern day countries of Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Syria; as Assyria once existed amongst these borders. Going to Iraq, the homeland of our ancestors, is a big deal, especially for those of us in the diaspora, as we are able to see where our lineage comes from.
