This video includes 5 separate visits to Reading station made during 1988.

The first was on Good Friday, 1st April and includes shots of 50 031, 50 016, 33 117 and 47 621 arriving on a Newcastle-Poole service.

The second visit on Easter Sunday 3rd of April saw 47 500 Great Western and 47 484 IKB on Oxford Paddington services.

April 16th was a Network South-East Rover day, and a few shots were taken whilst changing trains.

Friday 20th May saw 2 separate sessions at Reading on the same day.
The first lasted from around 11:30am until 1:45pm. The second period (which starts from 56 041), was from 4:30pm until about 7:30pm. This section includes the following Class 50s:
005 Collingwood, 021 Rodney, 022 Anson, 032 Courageous, 037 Illustrious, 038 Formidable, 039 Implacable, 040 Centurion, 043 Eagle and 045 Achilles. The rest of the traffic is mostly Class 47s with some Class 37 and Class 56 freight turns.


The final part of the video was filmed on Wednesday 21st December, and starts with 50 035 Ark Royal on an Oxford service.
