This is probably the most personal and dearest to my heart video I’ve ever made. I made this for me.. if you guys like it that’s great too LOL but ya.. I’ve honestly been waiting over half my life to make this. You may not be able to tell by looking at my channel and recent vids, cause I’ve regrettably not made a full video of the show in over 5 years (besides multicouples vids of course, my otps from it are always included in there).. but Friends is basically the most important show to me. This is the show that introduced me to fandom, the show that started my love for tv, especially comedies, this is the show that was there for me in so many ways (well duh it says so right there in the theme song lol) I started watching Friends a few months after it went off the air, I remember specifically it was the summer of 2004 and they had started playing reruns from the beginning. I had previously been too young while it was airing to appreciate it, but by 2004 I was 12 years old so I started to really get into it with the reruns. That was the summer before I started high school (high school where I’m from starts at grade 7 haha) and I remember being so nervous, I had no friends coming from elementary school and was this shy awkward kid, so this show really became my comfort, and these characters were literally my friends when I had none.

And now here we are 17 years later, I’ll be 30 this year (yikes) and this show has been with me through everything, and helped me laugh during times when I didn't think it was possible. As a teen I became so obsessed with not only the show but these 6 actors, there was literally a time when I knew each of their life histories, birthdays.. all of it LOL. I WAS OBSESSED OK I had no life lmao. So ya, back then I watched every behind the scenes video, interview, and literally knew the bloopers off by heart haha. I dunno if anyone is old enough like me and remembers this website that existed back in the day, it was like a Friends message board/social media site before there was social media. It was called Friends Cafe.. omg if anyone else remembers it I’ll be so excited.. anyway, the site was the best they had every interview the cast ever did together and every special ever done about the show. I literally downloaded everything back then, and thank god cause I still have all those files, and as I got into vidding in my later teens I knew one day I wanted to make a cast video using all of them.

I just love these 6 people and their friendship so much, the chemistry they share as a group is so strong and the love and support they have for each other is so evident, even all these years later as we saw in the reunion. I loved the reunion so much (though I could’ve done without some of the random celebrity cameos, kinda wish instead we got more and longer interviews of the guest cast, like where were the actresses that played Carol and Susan!! And obviously Paul Rudd but I guess he was busy..) But ya as far as the format went, I loved it. It might not be a popular opinion but I’m so glad they didn’t do a scripted episode, I just feel like it would ruin the perfect ending of the show. I’m just so thrilled we got to see the actors reminiscing about this amazing thing they did that changed tv and bonded them for life. Also the revelation that Jenvid was a real thing... I'm still shook/shipping them so hard helP ME.

And of course I finally had the push to make this video! I hope it’s ok... obviously I used a bunch of old interviews so the quality of a lot of it isn’t the best. I just really wanted to show the bond this cast has shared throughout the years. I think because this show was so special to me for so long I get overwhelmed at the thought of vidding it and wanting it to be perfect, so that’s probably why I haven’t done so in forever.. although I also for a while couldn’t find good quality episodes, but I finally downloaded all 10 seasons in HD so hopefully I’ll be vidding the show and mondler and roschel again sometime soon!

Anyway that’s my story about how Friends changed my life and introduced my passion for tv.. thanks for reading lol.
