This set of levels is found in the AES version of the game only, where you can play up to 4 different courses, including the MVS levels.

Puzzle de Pon is a game clearly based on the Puzzle Bobble titles, with some differences. Players don't try to clear the whole screen before the ceiling pushes balls to the floor; object of this game is to drop a plate before time runs out, and there is no falling ceiling. Therefore, you must combine well quick shooting speed with precise aim and strategy. Three special balls can appear at random times on certain rounds, Arrow Ball (aiming line for 10 shots), Star (clear a color from the field), Bomb (destroy balls touched on hit); the rounds have also plenty of undestructable balls, that must be dropped or bombed.

As the goal is to succeed in completing the game with harder playing conditions, the score achieved is not relevant. In particular, in Puzzle de Pon! you can earn more points by shooting balls until last moment, instead of rushing for a time bonus. So, really, I haven't played for score.
I set to myself the condition of hitting all the 1 mil. points bonuses to raise the difficulty a little bit.

Puzzle de Pon is notorius also for its Engrish and questionable use of it, such as the poor Arrow ball named "Allow ball" and the screen CANCER GET... because we're earning plates with zodiacal signs. Great.
