A year later and I've managed to make an updated version for this repair, the right way! A regular bolt will not last long. A coiled spring pin is much stronger! Car is a 2010 Ford Focus 5 speed manual. Mtx75 transmission. Video is best suited to watch on your phone!

Things you'll need:
Big hammer
Coiled pin (1/4 diameter, 1 inch long)
Punches (get assortment of them)
Hex key or something similar to hold shaft
