PARKRUN - Colwick, Nottingham. Course impressions & Timelapse with Commentary.

Welcome to my VLOG capturing my first visit to Colwick Parkrun in Nottingham located in Colwick Park, close to Nottingham Racecourse and Holme Pierrepont National Watersport Centre.

Today was my 162nd personal Parkrun and the 593rd here at Colwick having being established in June 2011.

The course here is very flat and takes you around two lakes. Beginning with a lap of the smaller lake, before splitting off to complete a lap of the larger lake, before returning to the smaller lake for the final kilometer. The course is predominantly on asphalt and is mainly run on the park paths, with a couple of sections on the wider road within the park.

The park is located on the east side of Nottingham, reasonably close to West Bridgford .

The facilities here include free parking at the Racecourse Road Car Park. There are public toilets within the park itself about 500m from the Parkrun start near to the playground. There are food and drink facilities close to the start / finish of the Parkrun.
