While most of us have had fish and chips before, how many of us have had a real authentic British fish and chip shop? Fish and Chips in the USA does not compare at all, an authentic British fish and chips recipe will, no pun intended, blow any American fish n' chips out of the water.

Having lived in the UK for 2 months briefly, I have had authentic UK fish and chips before and I know how it should taste. A Salt and Battery fish and chips shop in NYC is the only British chippy in NYC I've had that is comparable to a traditional British fish and chips shop.

The English fish and chips recipe is paired with an authentic mushy peas recipe as well, for a true British chippy experience. I'm not sure how good A Salt and Battery is compared to the best fish and chips in London, the best fish and chips in England, or the best fish and chips in the UK, but it is definitely the best fish and chips in NYC and therefore one of the best fish and chips in the USA.
