Pretty much straight up repaint video of the new and AMAZING six inch INDIANA JONES Adventure Series figure! This guy RULES! I was originally unsure about whether to get this figure, and had seen several online reviews, and still was not sure....then I caught the video by Hixxel Photography: • [Posing-Time] Indiana Jones Adventure... and the pure love in that video of posing and fun of play, with this particular figure, sold me!
I HAD TO HAVE ONE!
So, got the main, classic Indy figure, unsure if I am gonna get any more, and thought, well, you got him, repaint him! That was all I felt he needed. So I did. I used Vallejo brand acrylics, all by hand, and just put colors where they go, repainted everything! Every inch of this little guy, gave him more five O'clock shadow, and dirt, and grime, and just had fun!
Used some Tamiya weathering master powder pigments, and that really gave him that dusty look, then plastered on some Mr Hobby Mr Mr Super Clear MATT sealer, misted some on, and got him REALLY MATT coated, and VOILA!
INDY was ready for action!

PRIMARY SUPPLIES LIST FOR PAINTING THIS FIGURE:
Some of the main colors I used (all Vallejo brand acrylics with brand numbers)
Note: ALL OF THESE WERE APPLIED BY HAND! I do not airbrush!
PAINTS:
Wood Grain 70.828 A great dark rich brown. Good for leathers One of the best colors ever!
Burnt Umber 70.941 A dark brown for any purpose, hair, jacket, belts, blending for shadows
US Field Drab 70.873 a medium earthy brown. good base for Indy pants.
Ochre Brown 70.856 a rich medium brown with great uses. Has yellow in it! Importsnt
Stone Grey 70.884 Shirt base mix with drab for Indy shirt
Dark sand 70.847 a dark cream color
Ivory 70.918 use instead of white. Mix with colors to lighten or dry-brush over shirt for details
Tan Earth 70.874 another great medium tan. Mix with red and dark flesh to get fleshtones
Dark Flesh 70.927 base skin color. Never use alone, mix to get better results
Light Flesh 70.928 nice light skin base. Always mix to get better skin tones
Red 70.926 Use this color for mixing, as other reds may contain shades that will muddy colors
POWDERS:
Tamiya Weathering Master three pack, Sand/Light Sand/Mud
This medium, applied with supplied foam brush, or a dry brush in your set, goes in surface VERY thin, and almost doesn't show up until you drybrush a layer or two on. Once sprayed, it can darken down again, so it may take layers to achieve desired results. But, IT IS GREAT for bringing out details in scaled down cloth and leather. Good for dirtying shoes, pants, shirt details, etc.
SPRAYS:
Mr Hobby Mr Super Clear MATT (UV safe also available) A Japanese brand of spray that is a resin, and is best used misted on in layers. Do not use a heavy coat as that will dry eggshell, or with a slight sheen. Misted layers also builds up a texture, which helps in drybrushing after.
Not sure how to tell you how to use these, as I use them almost absentmindedly or almost unconciously while painting. I just look at colors and see what tones are needed and mix accordingly. EXPERIMENT! I have for too many years! Don't be afraid to seal a layer of paint, so you can go back and do more. Keeps work cleaner!
